it's amy winehouse! I'm not a fan of her drugging and such, but think her music is awesome. I like her style cause it's unique and 100% recognisable. both musically and in terms of her looks as well.
I chose the reference picture because it's a rather unusual one with her pulling her own hair and mic, sort of and not looking into the camera. she looks like she's lost in the music, her thoughts or simply the moment and I like that. makes me think she's totally devoted to what she's doing there.
one good thing about this drawing was that I didn't have to worry much about the hair.
Also, I didn't blend much in this picture, only her face. I thought it would add to the drawing in a positive way, not making it look too perfect. cause that's not what she looks like anyway with her skinny arms and her hands looking at least one size too big for her body.
